Community - Celebrations The Ellice Street Festival he WECC works with local community and business groups to organize this one-day festival in June. It gives local residents an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of the neighbourhood, and to "take back" busy Ellice Avenue for a day of fun, food, arts and crafts, children's activities and concerts. |

| Holiday Dinner and Concert In partnership with several social service agencies, the WECC organizes a free turkey dinner and concert for Spence Neighbourhood residents. Local musicians donate their time and talent to entertain. Local performers are highlighted at these events. Performers living in the West Central Neighbourhood are invited to submit a bio and CD.
