Instrumental synth rock
We're Only Here for the Snacks are quite possibly the world’s best (only?) 13-year-old instrumental dual synth indie rock band. Their unique sound blends electro indie pop, rock, punk and jazz into an energetic style with intricate melodies and catchy riffs. We're Only Here for the Snacks simultaneously bring the noise, the groove and an infectious youthful energy to the stage, that music fans of all ages can tap their toes, clap their hands and bang their heads to. Their debut self-titled LP, Missed our Stop, was recorded and mixed by Jason Tait at Traditional Grip Audio and J. Riley Hill at No Fun Club will be released on November 21, 2025.
Joining We're Only Here for the Snacks on stage will be some of Winnipeg's best young bands: garage rockers Ardere, alternative/punk rock band Paradise on Fire and indie/60s pop band Kola Kola Pop and the Soda Cans.
