about

Mckye

Emerging singer-songwriter Mckye is a real-life Bard. When your character needs inspiration, Mckye is here to help you remember you're not alone - being a human is nuts. Let’s hold hands (in a gay way if you want) and sing to the stars - pop meets rock meets gospel meets what is she doing oh well let's sing. Mckye is layering cheeky vocals, songweaving ancient truths and somehow riding the line between ethereal and swamp queen.

2025 was BIG WOW for Mckye. After releasing her first single “Scrollin” in 2024.  selected to be showcased at the “Good + Plenty” New Producers showcase in Winnipeg. she started Winnipeg's One-Day Choir program with Good+Plenty. Teaching and collaborting around the city has been the theme of 2025, ending the year with the release of her new single "Horrible Beauty" on December 9th. Keep your eyes out for Mckye's first EP, being released in 2026, produced by Lana Winterhalt at Clubhouse Studio. Mckye is ready to be seen, heard and laughed with or at. It's the season of the witch bitch.

If you have a voice in your head whispering to yourself “bruh I can’t stand you”, Mckye is singing

“I see you. You're not alone. Let's sit around the fire.”
