Last fall, Simon, our original bass player and brother/son, stepped away from touring with The Janzen Boys, having decided that it was the right season of life to focus on other things. Over the past year, our good friend Jonah stepped in, taking a year off of school to join us on the road.

But we're happy to announce that Simon is officially returning to The Janzen Boys, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a special hometown reunion concert, right where it all began.

Join us as we welcome Simon back, celebrate everything Jonah brought to the band over the past year, and kick off this next chapter together. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or just recently discovered our music, we’d love to have you there for really special evening.

Join us for a very special hometown celebration as we welcome Simon back to The Janzen Boys! The evening will feature two 45-minute sets from The Janzen Boys with a short break in between. Expect an evening full of heartfelt songs, three-part harmonies, stories, and the kind of music that’ll make you smile, cry, and maybe even sing along. This is an all-ages show, so bring friends, family, or just yourself—we’ll make sure you feel right at home!

Band Bio:

The Janzen Boys are a father-and-sons folk-country trio from Winnipeg, Canada, known for their tight three-part harmonies, heartfelt songs, and touching live shows. Often described as a male counterpart to The Wailin' Jennys, their sound is frequently compared to artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young, and Barenaked Ladies.

Since 2024, The Janzen Boys have toured relentlessly throughout Canada, steadily building a loyal following through captivating live performances and a grassroots approach to connecting with listeners online. Committed to sharing their music and stories, they plan to bring their harmony-driven folk-country sound to audiences far and wide, continuing to expand their reach while staying grounded in the values that have shaped their music from the beginning.
