KC is Lazy German-born now based in Canada, Singer-Songwriter KC Is Lazy matured through the DIY folk scene in Berlin, and rapidly became an Americana touring staple through Germany, EU and UK.

Rolling Stone Magazine described her music as: "A far cry from boring Folklore."

After a move to London, UK and a decade later to Winnipeg, Canada she writes, produces and records her body of work that is rooted in folk tradition yet leads into unique perspectives.

KC Is Lazy presents herself in her own, eerie, plaintive and rootsy style by drawing from a well of personal history and culture, playing a variety of instruments on her recordings and invites the listener to explore the landscapes of her tunes alongside her.

The melodies she plays teem with ideas and perfectly accompany her unique voice and vocal arrangements which she captures in her live setup accompanied by some of Winnipeg, Canada's finest musicians.
